Sophie received her Bachelor of Science in honours physics from St. Francis Xavier University in 2015. Her current interests relate to diversity growth of genetically identical cells, particularly during cellular reprogramming and short term cancer therapy resistance. She uses simulation and stochastic analysis to better understand lineage behaviour measured experimentally. Her other interests include applications of data science to public issues, board games, and skiing.
